Teaser from Rudskogen motor festival

Here's a little teaser from Rudskogen motor festival ! Sitting here quite sunburnt and sorting the images from a great day. The main attraction of the program was the leading world champion team Red Bull Racing. For the first time in history a Formula 1 Team comes to Norway.

Shooting the Golf with some new equipment

After a long time thinking about what telephoto lens I should buy, it suddenly appeared an offer I couldn't say no to. So i bought a brand new AF-S VR NIKKOR 200mm f/2G IF-ED  Phuu....long name :-)  
Have performed to small tests outside with this lens. I can not say anything other than that I'm highly impressed. This is the absolutely best of what one can get of glass from Nikon in this focal length. This lens is really sharp wide open and has a lot of micro-contrast even at f 2. To be honest I can not see any differences between 2.0 and 2.5 or 4.0  (Besides the increase in depth of field). The bokeh of this lens is also in its own class ( Bokeh is the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light). I´m just waiting for my polarization filter to come, so I can control the reflections on the car better.

I've never taken pictures of the go-carts before, so had to pop by Rudskogen´s fantastic go-cart facility and try out some pictures. Love the reflections in the visor of the Curb :-)
