Teaser from Gatebil 10.09.2011 !

I can still smell the burning rubber, and my hearing is impaired by 30% after a nice day on Gatebil yesterday :-) Here are some teasers from yesterday. I will be posting more pictures later, but I have 28GB of RAW files to sort and edit first :-)

If you are looking for a picture of a specific car (your car for example), then send me an e-mail or leave a comment and I'll see if I have pictures of it!

Feel free to save a copy of the pictures for your own personal use, like a desktop wallpaper or post them on facebook or other forums etc. But do NOT alter the pictures in any way (edit/crop/removal of my logo etc). Unfortunately, I have had several cases of unauthorized use of my photos recently :-(

Getting ready for Gatebil !

The  batteries are charging, and the equipment is being checked and cleaned. Looking forward to Gatebil this weekend :-)
It has been reported sunny weather on Saturday, and that suits me just fine!

Racing NM at Rudskogen racetrack, 13.08.2011

Had a great day at Rudskogen racetrack when I went to see and photograph racing NM (Norwegian championship in asphalt racing). The weather on Saturday was super nice, as opposed to those who chose to come on Sunday :-)
There were 6 different classes racing:

GT racing (class 1,2,3 and 4)
Seven racing
Formula basic
Historic racing (cars from the 60's and 70's)
Shortcar
Porsche club racing.

All photographs are taken with a Nikon D700 and a 70-200 2.8 lens (Some also with a 1.7 teleconverter) + 16-35 f4 VRII
There are a lot of pictures in the blog this time as there where a lot of different cars to photograph :-)

Ferarri 355 Berlinetta F1 photoshoot

Here are some of the pictures from last weekend's photo shoot. Light conditions was not optimal, and locations were not chosen by me. Based on the circumstances, I am happy with the pictures. But this car clearly deserves a more suitable location (= race track, or a curvy road up a mountain side:-).  
The Ferarri 355 have a 3,5 liter V8, that produces 380hp. The Berlinetta model was the first ever road car to be equipped with the innovative F1-style gearbox management system.
This car have a hand-made ​​magnesium exhaust system that made the sound experience extra special :-) The car is for sale if anyone is interested !
